I think that people do grow up too fast. Alot of kids know about thing they shouldn't. They know about drugs, they already have jobs, and they know about other things. Some kids are supporting there family wile in high school. Some kids take care of their parents. This happens because the parent are ether on drugs lazy or poor.



His life is different because he takes care of his sister with his own money. His mom is married to a abusive man who has hit Gerald before. The man is a drunk and has a bad temper. Gerald is holding down a job to keep the family from living on the street. He has more responsibilities than a high school student should.



Handle a difficult situation- I was at my friends house and we were messing around and broke a picture frame. We were worried his parents would find out so we tried to wood glue it back together. But that didn't work. So we tied to screw it back together and it didn't work at first. But then the screw started going in and we put it all back together then hung it back up. No one found out it was broken.

In 2005, 64,207 New York State children were abused or neglected, approximately 14 of every 1,000 children in the state. The NYS Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (the Child Abuse Reporting Hotline) received 139,169 reports of suspected child abuse or neglect, involving 185,819 children. Upon investigation, 42,169 (31 percent) were substantiated as situations of child abuse and neglect. (There are more child victims than reports, because more than one child is involved in some cases.) Compared to the prior year, the number of reports decreased by 1.1; the number of substantiated cases decreased by 1.2 percent; the number of child victims decresed 16 percent.



Nationwide in 2005, 1,460 children died of abuse or neglect in the 50 states that reported information; that is, almost 2 children for every 100,000 in the population. Children younger than one year old accounted for 31.8 percent of fatalities and 76.6 percent of fatalities were younger than four years old.

BOXER SPLIT HIS FOOT OPEN AND WAS SENT TO THE SLAUGHTER HOUSE. THIS WAS IN CHAPTER 9. THE COMMANDMENTS WERE COMPLETELY ALTERED. NOW TWO LEGS ARE BETTER THAN FOUR LEGS.

CHAPTER 10

MANY ANIMALS START DIEING OFF LIKE MURIEL, BLUEBELL, JESSY, AND PINCHER. THE SUPPLIES ARE STARTING TO RUN LOW ND THAT IS THE REASON FOR SOME DEATHS. THEY BUILT ANOTHER WIND MILL FOR POWER AND MONEY.

Plain Folks this was used in the book alot it was used in pretty much every chapter. they use it to get any thing they want. squealer dishes it out they take it in. Bandwagon this is how most animals felt in the book they felt it was so popular every one was thinking it was a good idea they went against thire own opinion for that reason only. Black and White Thinking this was mostly the whole book it was the whole concept. you have a different opinion you are a traitor. then you are banned. Name calling this is used when some one in a campaine wants to win really bad. they will trash the oponint in stead of telling what they will. Glittering Generalitieso this is used to make some thing bad seem good. the government uses this all the time. they make us belive what they did is not that bad.

WHY?

What I am doing here I don't know but to have that fear of death is scary. To have a gun pointed at me and being told I will be shot if I don't move faster is scary. I have no strength and I need food and water. I hope this ends soon I can’t take any more of it I will die sooner than I can live if I don't get food or water now. Where will I go when I leave here what will happen to me if my parents die what if I die? I am only six what have I done that is so wrong that I deserve this treatment. This cant be happening this must be a dream this will end when I wake up just let me wake up. What if I never wake up what if I sleep for ever and this lasts for ever. What have we done that is so wrong that we must be treated like animals? I hear people say this is just the beginning what can be worse than this I cant even imagine any thing more horrible than this. They are also saying we are heading to a camp. How can camp be bad when I think of camp I think out doors and camp fires. Although people do say I’m right about the fire. Some say I could die by fire. When the men with guns talk to us they always say some thing like "move Jew." is that why we are here? Our religion is why we are being killed like this. Is it so bad to believe in some thing else? If so I’m sorry ill stop. Just stop pointing that gun at me please. I have done nothing wrong so WHY?

“Sixteen years on the street and you a lot. But all wrong things, not the tings you want to learn”. This quote applies to Johnny due to the fact that he is not your typical greaser.
This quote has a significant meaning to this story. It’s basically saying you can learn anything you want on the street but it wont get you anywhere but killed or in jail or in some kind of trouble. The reason I picked Pony Boy is because he is the best example of what this quote means. One example is when Johnny gets beat up and he learns to walk alone he has to carry a weapon with him at all times. Another example is when Pony Boy is getting drowned and Johnny stabs Bob. One last example is being in a gang has ruined his life because he is doing bad things all of the time. That is why Johnny fits that quote so well.

A young male named Johnny Cade has died after suffering severe burns. He was burned in the fire at the banded church.Him and his friend were the ones who saved the kids from the fire. He died in his hospital bed late yesterday. you wouldnt think a kid like this would do something like this. He was in a gang called the Greasers. but this kid was no typical greaser. he was able to show hid emotions his last words were from a poem called "Nothing Gold Can Stay" he said "stay gold." His home life was hard too he had an abusive father. Yet he dies to save some children he never met.
